Bouquets of love
A zillion of thanks to whoever founded "Teachers' Day".
(as well as the founders of Mother's Day, Father's Day and Children's Day etc)
On this day, we receive lotsa presents (such that the next day becomes boxing day for us) and cards/letters of appreciation from our students (and even former students).

Chocolates, flowers, photo frames blah blah blah aside, the essence of it all is, AFFIRMATION - the strength that enables us to carry on with the marathon, to mould the future of our nation.
